Ulster County's only casino application was to be the focus of a special informational session in Kingston this afternoon but now that session has been cancelled.  Ulster County Legislative Chairman John Parete says the meeting was intended to allow Michael Treanor to address the Legislature after the revelation of an assault conviction that led to his resignation as the CEO of Nevele Investors.  Nevele Investors has applied for a casino license for the resort near Ellenville.  Chairman Parate says since the developers moved quickly to replace Treanor as CEO there is no need for the special session.
