In case you haven't seen this: Two pilots in India had to eject from their twin-seat jet after a bird strike. The video is shot from ground level, and you can see the flames coming from the back of the jet.
And then two parachutes open up in its wake, and a couple of seconds after that the plane turns into a fireball and goes down. Luckily the pilot pointed the jet away from populated areas and no one was injured.
