Socially Distanced Shakespeare coming to the Hudson Valley

Actress In Open Air Theater Shakespeare Performance

Live theater doesn't always need to take place inside. This week, gather your family and tell your friends about a special performance of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' to be held on the Great Lawn at The Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck.

The show, one of Shakespeare's most accessible comedies will run July 7-18, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7 pm. All tickets must be purchased on-line, none will be available at the door with seating on a first come, first served basis, keeping socially distance guidelines in mind. Masks are required as you walk on the grounds, but can be removed while you are seated watching the performance.

There will be no concessions, but everyone is invited to bring a picnic basket with your own food and beverages. Restrooms will be available inside the facility, but, again, keeping in mind socially distance guidelines while waiting in line.

Don't miss this very special production at The Center for the Performing Arts.
