Kane Brown reunited with Marshmello for their first collaboration together in five years. “Miles On It” arrived on Friday morning (May 3).

Last month, Brown teased his new track with the producer and DJ on his Instagram story. Brown said at that time that he had “the song of the summer” on the way, and corrected himself on the following slide to say “we” have the song of the summer, tagging Marshmello. “Miles On It” marks the duo’s latest collaboration since they released “One Thing Right” in 2019.

“Girl, let's go put some miles on it/ Back of the Chevy with the engine running/ Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King/ We could break it in/ If you know what I mean/ Put some miles on it/ Back of the Chevy with the engine running/ Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King/ We could break it in / If you know what I mean/ Put some miles on it / We could break it in/ If you know what I mean/ Put some miles on it”

“Miles On It” follows Brown’s electrifying country anthem, “Fiddle in the Band,” and his Phil Collins-inspired single, “I Can Feel It.” The award-winning singer-songwriter’s latest full-length album is Different Man, which released in September 2022. The 17-track album included “Bury Me in Georgia” the title track with Blake Shelton, “Like I Love Country Music,” “Grand,” “One Mississippi,” “Drunk or Dreamin’” and “Thank God,” the romantic duet with wife Katelyn Brown, among other highlights. Brown kicked off his headlining “In The Air Tour” — a nod to his “I Can Feel It” lyrics — in late March. The tour includes special guests Tyler HubbardJon PardiChris YoungBailey ZimmermanCole SwindellParmaleeLOCASH and RaeLynn.
