As the heat and humidity have been building all day, a cold front is approaching the Hudson Valley this afternoon, and we have the potential for a stormy evening commute.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for all of the Hudson Valley until 10 tonight. We could see torrential rainfall,cloud to ground lightning, and wind gusts.
Please exercise caution on your way home and never drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
