WHO: Bankers, doctors, pilots, and dozens of breast cancer supporters from across the Hudson Valley will embrace their inner super-hero strength for the 2023 Hudson Valley Plane Pull Brought to You by Men Wear Pink David Claisse to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink campaign.
WHAT: More than two dozen teams consisting of ten people will have the opportunity to step on the tarmac, work together and pull a United GoJet CRG 145 - 50 passenger plane. Teams will compete to make the fastest time from the start to finish point, the second fastest time, the most spirited, as well as biggest heart (which is last place so all teams have a chance to win prizes). Additionally, there will be outdoor games, entertainment, child and adult crafts, appearances by Hudson Valley Ghostbusters and the Mandalorian, (the fictional character in the Star Wars franchise), Roamer digital photo booth, a DJ and food trucks.
“This is an incredible and unique opportunity for the Hudson Valley community to pull together and fund the American Cancer Society’s efforts to fight breast cancer,” said David Claisse, whose mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor.

Mean Wear Pink Campaign
Men Wear Pink Ambassadors raise awareness and funds to support the American Cancer Society’s vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone, by committing to raise at least $2,500 and wearing pink every day in October.
Breast cancer can affect anyone. Not only are more than 2,700 men in the US diagnosed this year, but so are more than 287,500 of their daughters, wives, mothers, sisters, and friends. In 2022, more than 68,000 women and men are expected to die from the disease nationwide.
The campaign was designed to engage male community leaders and influencers in the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate breast cancer.
In 2022, more than 2,300 Ambassadors engaged in 120 campaigns to raise more than $11 million.
Every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding innovative breast cancer research; providing education and guidance to help people reduce their risk; and offering comprehensive patient support to those who need it most so that no one faces breast cancer alone.
