I'm guess this worked was happy he didn't call in sick. An employee at a Canadian recycling plant hit the jackpot. No, it wasn't the TV. It's what was inside the TV that made his day. The guy was just doing his job when he found some cash...more like six figures..over $100-thousand stashed inside an old TV set. The honest employee turned the cash over and thanks to other documents found inside, authorities were able to track down the original owner.
It turns out a 68-year-old gave the TV to a friend 30-years-ago and simply forgot the cash was inside. The money has since been returned to the senior citizen. No word on if the employee got a reward or if the rightful owner opened a savings account.
