GET IN TOON with COMIC CLUBHOUSE is an exciting program that allows young people the opportunity to be inspired and let their imaginations soar!
What is GET IN TOON with COMIC CLUBHOUSE?
Our goal is to bring people together for a fun and enlightening view of the comic book / graphic novel industry and puppetry.
Though our aim is to make sure kids (and kids at heart!) have fun. We also want to teach about how the chosen field works & ways to support their academic goals and efforts.
We are the ONLY Kids Literacy Through Comics & the Arts program in the NorthEast! Our programs follow a COMMON CORE & ARTS based curriculum - designed by State Licensed Educators, who are also the founders and instructors at our events!
ALL materials presented are all-audiences/family oriented.

PAT SHAND writes comics (Little Girl, Destiny NY, Snap Flash Hustle) and novels (Iron Man, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor). He runs Space Between Entertainment in New York, where he lives with his wife Amy and their army of cats.

IncrediCon is excited to welcome Comic Creator and Artist Emilio Velez Jr. to the our show at the POUGHKEEPSIE GALLERIA on October 28th!Emilio Velez Jr. is from The Bronx, NY and the writer, illustrator and creator of The Dodgeball Teens. The Dodgeball Teens is about three teenage siblings who play professional dodgeball and then go on different adventures. Emilio can be found touring at comic book conventions, arts and crafts fairs and even dodgeball tournaments. Emilio has currently completed his ninth issue and hard at work on his tenth. Emilio will have all the volumes of the Dodgeball Teens, as well as his "Famous Dogdeballers" prints. Along with his books and prints, Emilio will be doing commissions, and showing participants how to "Dodge, Duck, Dive , and Dodge"!

We are very excited to welcome one of the talented cast members from the hit Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, Actress AMANDA STEPHEN, to IncrediCon at the POUGHKEEPSIE GALLERIA on October 28th!
Amanda is a New York based actor originally from Montreal, Canada. As a child Amanda gravitated to EVERYTHING artistic and encouraged self expression; from dancing to painting, acting to creative writing, you name it. After dabbling in different artistic mediums, she quickly realized acting was my passion and true calling. Amanda decided to pursue a formal education and career and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Theatrical Performance and a B.A. in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications, Amanda went to California to join B Street Theatre's Post Graduate Internship Company. At the end of the internship, she earned her Equity Card and with much anticipation, moved to New York City! Since moving to NYC, Amanda has worked on Off-Broadway, regional & national commercials, numerous industrials and has become a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Amanda's most exciting and current project has been playing Alison Abdullah in Seasons 4 & 5 of the Netflix original series "Orange is the New Black."
Amanda will be meeting her fans, signing autographs and taking photos at IncrediCon!
