Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines have *finally* revealed what their next big project is after ending their beloved home improvement show Fixer Upper. While they aren't making their highly anticipated return to television just yet, Chip and Joanna have plans on expanding their food empire. In addition to their restaurant Magnolia Table and bakery Silos Baking Co., the Gaines' announced their opening a new coffee shop in Waco, Texas.
“I can confirm that we will be breaking ground on our newest project, a coffee shop, early next month—our tentative plan is to open by year’s end,” Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano told People. “An official name for the coffee shop has not yet been announced, but we’re excited to share more details in the coming weeks!”
According to the Waco Tribune-Herald, the Gaines' coffee shop will offer a full-service coffee bar, fresh-baked pastries and an assortment of teas. The shop will also have both indoor and outdoor seating for its customers, as well as a to-go window for a quick coffee run. Another exciting aspect is that the new coffee shop will be located just a block away from Chip and Joanna's Magnolia Market at the Silos.
Are you excited for the next Gaines family venture into the food industry? In the meantime, we can pick up Joanna's new kids book to read while we wait for the coffee shop to open its doors.
