Luca Schneider is the name of a 4 year old Hyde Park boy who has been sick since birth.
He has been in & out of hospitals from NYC to Boston & has a team of doctors between the hospitals.
He has Chronic Lung Disease, both stomach and intestinal dysmotility & the upcoming surgery he will go through will be on both of his feet. He has Metatarsus adductus. His feet are turning in on each other & the toes are started to overlap as in a club foot. The doctors will be cutting into both feet and moving bones, tendons & muscle to straighten them out & Luca will need to relearn how to walk. The reason BowieLive was chosen for a benefit show is because the Schneider family adores everything David Bowie.
