What's Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

After a taste of fall weather, the temperatures will be warming back up again to give us some nice, late summer days. There's lots going on throughout the Hudson Valley this time of year and it's tough to keep track of it all. We are here to help. Here's a list of events going on this weekend, with links to find even more.

Saturday, September 14 - Sunday, September 15; 11-6: Harvest Grape Stomping Festival at Benmarl Winery in Highland. Stomp grapes, listen to live music, and enjoy the start of the fall season. Tickets are $10-$15 and includes a souvenir wine glass, tour, music, and sampling. To find other events going on in Ulster County, click here.

Saturday, September 14; 9-4: Sons of the American Legion Post 1302 Car and Bike Show. Trophies for the top 30 entrants, best of show, event is rain or shine. Sunday, September 15; 11-4: Harvest Festival is a family- friendly and free event on the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival.Nearly 100 vendors will be on site. Farmer's market, artisans and crafters, fresh food and fun events are all a part of this special event. Enjoy the corn maze, take a horse and buggy ride, plus live performances from regional musicians will be on the festival stage. To find other events going on in Sullivan County, click here.

Saturday, September 14; 5:30 pm -9:30 pm: Ranger Adventures: Night Hike at Sterling Forest State Park. See the park in a whole new light, at dark. Hike to the Fire Tower, stargaze, and see the illuminated skyline of Manhattan. The hike leaves at 5:30 sharp so as to be at the Fire Tower by sunset. The hike back will be in the dark so headlamps or flashlights are a must, they will not be provided for you. Everyone is welcome, wear sturdy shoes and bring your own water and snacks.
