Caring for an aging parent or relative isn't easy. It also not easy getting older. If you find yourself struggling to get answers to your questions about Social Security, Medicare, Scams aimed at seniors, or other topics related to aging, the Dutchess County Office For the Aging is here to help.
They will hold their annual 'Senior Seminars' Day Thursday, November, 7 at the New Hackensack Reformed Church located at 1580 Route 376, Wappingers Falls. Space and parking limitations encourage everyone to sign-up as early as possible to make sure you get the seminars you need.
The schedule includes a chance to speak with the Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, find out about a great group called Friends of Seniors, tips from a professional organizer on how to cope with years of collecting possessions, Social Security, Medicare, Gambling, and energy concerns. You can see the complete schedule here.
Help is just a phone call away. To reserve your space, call the Office for the Aging at 845-486-2555.
