Granger Smith Opens Up About Having More Kids 4 Months After Son's Death

Granger Smith and his wife Amber have been open and honest with fans after the tragic death of their son, River, in June. From updates on their lives to opening up about donating his organs, they've graciously kept fans informed.

On Wednesday (October 2), the couple took to their family YouTube account to answer questions from fans. While many were light-hearted, they did answer some more personal questions relating to losing their three-year-old son.

The Smiths shared personal information about whether or not they've decided if they'd have children in the future after losing River. Amber revealed that she actually got her tubes tied after their son was born. “I can't have any more children,” she explained. “We have talked about adoption and we've also talked about having another biological child someday… but it's not going to happen. I feel like, for me personally, I don't think that I could after River… it just wouldn't feel right to me.”

The pair also let fans know that their other children, London and Lincoln, “talk about him all the time” and have days where they miss him but ”talk about him in a happy way.” Granger added that the “dynamic is very different in the house” but not always in a bad way. He went on to explain that River was the mediator between the three children and could always break up the bickering between his older siblings and make everyone smile.

“I have not seen a single hard day where they struggle all day,” Granger said about his kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Smiths.
