The special enrollment period for those without coverage right now is only open until April 15, and those who lose their employer coverage have 60 days to apply for new coverage. ·Individuals who are experiencing financial hardship from COVID-19 may defer payments on their life insurance policies for 90 days according to Governor Cuomo'sWEBSITE.
·On that same page, Governor Cuomo said that consumers and small businesses may defer paying premiums for property and casualty insurance for 60 days.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has created a guide for small businesses looking to take advantage of Paycheck Protection Program. This is the program that allows businesses to take out a loan to cover their payrolls, and the loan is forgiven if the owner maintains that payroll through this crisis.
