Mother Nature is kicking things up a bit this afternoon and here in the Hudson Valley we could see some strong storms, hail, damaging winds, and the possibility of isolated tornadoes.
The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch and a Special Weather Statement for the Hudson Valley. The tornado watch is in effect until 7 tonight.
From now until around 8 this evening, we could see thunderstorms moving Southeast around 35 mph bringing with them the potential for torrential rainfall, large hail, and damaging winds.
Downed tree limbs, power lines, and power outages are all a possibility today. Stay safe this afternoon and we will continue to update you as we get more information in.
