The Vassar Haiti Project is thrilled to announce its first in-person art sale in 18 months, after more than a year of virtual programming due to covid protocols. This year’s Families Weekend Sale celebrates 20 years of the Vassar Haiti Project and continues the tradition of bringing to life the vibrant art and culture of Haiti. The event will feature colorful Haitian art and handcrafts for sale October 1-3 as well as a virtual month-long auction that runs September 11 - October 11.
HAITIAN ART SALE AND VIRTUAL AUCTION
The Vassar Haiti Project presents its 21st annual Families Weekend art auction & sale between September 11 through October 11. The auction is being held virtually, and the sale will happen in-person at Vassar College on the second floor of the College Centre from October 1- 3. Hundreds of original paintings and thousands of handcrafts including hand-painted silk scarves and iron sculptures made in Haiti by artists and artisans will be offered for sale or auction. All purchases are 50% tax-deductible.
