Hudson Valley Improv Announces New Show Featuring Locals Live Improv Comedy Show with Local Improvisors Ulster Park, NY— 08/13/22 — Hudson Valley Improv, Award-Winning Improv Training Center based in the Hudson Valley, brings its newest live improv comedy show to Boughton Place in Highland, NY: THE DIRECTOR’S CUTS “This show is comprised of nine Hudson Valley residents who have elevated to our House Team. In this show each member created and directed an original improv game designed by them. This show puts their training and experience to the test.” said Samantha Jones, Founder of at Hudson Valley Improv. Jones is an actress with credits including Retreat/FX, Dr. Death/Peacock, FBI Most Wanted/CBS, Bull/CBS and local production The Green Veil with John Leguizamo. After teaching her empowering method of improv in NYC for 25 years, Jones relocated to Ulster County in 2013. As soon as she opened Hudson Valley Improv, residents who had longed to try improv finally had a place to learn and explore.
