A bartender is going viral online after quitting his job in a text message, with the situation getting him a lot of support.
The bartender’s boss texted him at 3 a.m. one morning to tell him he needed him to come in that morning for an 11-hour shift. The bartender replied that it was his day off, and he was already quite a few beers in…
His boss didn’t like that and told him he needs “to stay ready for work,” and that getting “too drunk” on his day off wasn’t “a good look.” The boss then told him they would talk about his attitude “on Sunday,” and the bartender replied that there were lots of places looking for bartenders, and he would just go work at one of them.
That caused the boss to start backtracking, telling him to not “make such an impulsive decision” and to give him a call. His reply was to tell his boss to “Eat. My. Adam Suzy Sammy.” If you know what I mean!
