Do you remember when you were a teenager dreaming of the day you would finally be old enough to get your driver's license? Of course, when you are old enough, you need to take driver's tests and pass those tests to get your license. It seemed like an eternity. Well, imagine, when you are finally of age, you take the test and fail, then try again and repeat this process for over 25 years
In 1992, Christian Whiteley-Mason of England was looking forward to getting his driver's license, but failed his test. Now, after 25 years and 33 attempts, the 42-year-old is finally able to get behind the wheel. He says, "I can't believe I've actually finally passed after all these years. I'm still in shock!"
Over the past 25 years, Christian has taken 85 lessons with 14 different instructors and spent a whopping $12,000. After failing the test for the 32nd time back in 2003, he just conceded that he would never pass and gave up trying. But he recently decided to give it one more go, and this time he passed, albeit with three minor mistakes committed.
Even though he has his license, would you get in his car knowing that he failed 32 times?
