If you've always wanted to live like a King or fly like one, here's your chance. A personal jet once belonging to Elvis Presley is up for auction. The 1962 red Lockheed JetStar goes up for bid this Saturday, May 27th with a starting bid of ten-thousand dollars. Quite a bargain since the jet is worth between two-million and three and a-half million dollars. Elvis co-owned the aircraft with his father, Vernon.
There's a minor catch. The jet can't fly because it doesn't have any engines. However, it does have red shag carpeting and red velvet seats. GWS Auctions is orchestrating the auction and estimates
Liveauctioneers.com says the jet has been parked in the high desert of Roswell, New Mexico for 30 years.
