Vince Gill will join The Eagles for the upcoming Classic East and Classic West festivals next month, and he’s certainly excited about it.
"It was a surreal experience," Vince tells “Rolling Stone” about his first rehearsals with the band. “Don's (Henley) there, Timothy (B. Schmit) is there and I'm singing these songs. It was an amazing gift."
Vince says the idea first came about he was definitely interested but he didn’t really think the band would play again without Glenn Frey.
Vince says he’s expecting to sing Glenn tunes like "Lyin' Eyes," "New Kid in Town," "Take It to the Limit" and "Heartache Tonight." He adds, “I'm beyond flattered that of all the people who play and sing music, that they'd think enough of me to do this. I feel like I'm a great fit.”
