You can now own a piece of NY Yankees slugger and MLB ‘s All Star Home Run Derby Champion, Aaron Judge. Judge cranked out homers that traveled 501, 504 and 513 in a span of under a minute and looked less like he was swatting mammoth homers and more like he was swatting pesky flies.
Believe it or not, there were actually bigger numbers than Aaron Judge’s home run distances during Monday night’s All-Star Home Run Derby...the total viewership.
The slugfest Monday night was seen by 8.69-million viewers on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and the company's livestreams — a 55% increase – and the most in ovr a decade since 2008's 9.12-million.
When asked whether he thought of himself as the next Babe Ruth, Aaron modestly said,“No. I think of myself as a little kid from Linden, California, getting to live a dream right now.” Judge nailed that one, too.
Judge’s HR hitting performance literally knocked everyone’s socks off.
Baseball card company Topps is already selling cards with pieces of socks worn by Aaron Judge in the Derby.
And how much for the stinky memorabilia? The prices range from $99 to $1,500 per card.
