Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, Bonnie Raitt and James Taylor, have signed on for the new Hurricane Harvey benefit concert, “Harvey Can't Mess With Texas,” on September 22nd at Austin's Frank Erwin Center.
The show will feature “exclusive performances and rare collaborations" plus Leon Bridges, Lyle Lovett, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, with Matthew McConaughey, Dan Rather, Renee Zellweger and Luke Wilson.
The concert will air on 11 Texas channels, with YouTube also airing an hour-long live stream. Proceeds from the benefit will go to Rebuild Texas Fund. Google is pledging to match donations up to $500,000.
