Dolly Parton wanted to help wildfire victims of Gatlinburg, Tennessee so she set up her My People’s Fund late last year.

Not everyone has a big heart like Dolly.  Five people have been indicted for scamming money from the fund. Debra Kay Catlett, her son, Chad Alan Chambers, and three other people, Rocco Boscalia, Ammie Lyons and Esther Pridemore, were all charged with conspiracy to defraud the Dollywood Foundation's My People Fund.

The accused all began collecting money from the fund before an investigation by the Gatlinburg Police Department discovered they were scammers. They collected close to $12,000 before they were discovered.
