Garth Brooks is one of the most successful recording artists of all time. He's also from country music's "Class of 1989," the year many big names debuted. It's also the same year Country 1073, WRWD first hit the airwaves in the Hudson Valley.
Fast forward 28 years later to 2017...Garth is taking a look back on his life with a five-part anthology that will feature pictures, music and more.
“The Anthology Part 1: The First Five Years,” dropping November 14th, will cover the creation and promotion of his first five albums, and feature a 240-page book, with more than 150 never-before-seen photos, plus five CDs with 52 songs, 19 of which are either new, unreleased or demos.
So far there’s no word on when the other four parts of the anthology will be released, but Garth is going to talk about the entire project on Monday at 7 pm during a special edition of his Facebook Live series, “Inside Studio G.”
