Keith Urban has joined the all-star lineup for “Country Rising.” It's a benefit concert to help those affected by the recent rash of hurricanes in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Following the shooting at the Harvest 91 Festival in Las Vegas earlier this month, the concert has now expanded its intentions, and will also help support the victims of that tragedy as well.
Keith joins an impressive who's who of today's biggest country stars featuring Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Carrie Underwood.
Unfortunately, Garth Brooks, who was originally scheduled to appear at the concert, had to bow out due to scheduling issues but instead will donate all proceeds from his two added concerts on November 12th in Spokane, Washington to The Country Rising Fund.
Tickets for the concert at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena November 12th go on sale Friday at 11 am ET. Proceeds from the show will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
