Dierks Bentley Throws First Responders Block Party For GMA
Dierks Bentley brought the party to Austin, Texas yesterday to perform on “Good Morning America.” He wanted to do something special for his fans and first responders from Austin and Round Rock, Texas, who helped out the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
“These are the people who rush towards danger when the rest of us are running away from it," Dierks said of the special guests. "Just being around these guys and these women, I have more respect for them now more than ever.”
Ashley Cooper, the Riverside Drive resident who submitted her street for the contest, told “GMA,” We live on the best street in the world and couldn’t be happier," adding, “everybody really watches out for each other."
Ashley and her neighbors Dierks and his band playing his hits including, "Somewhere on a Beach" and "Black." Check out the video highlights and some of the video submissions below.
