Alan Jackson says it's a dream come true and he gets set to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this Sunday. Alan will be entering along with the late Jerry Reed and songwriter Don Schlitz. The ceremony will take place at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in the CMA Theater.
Jackson says he’s “honored” by the recognition, adding “there is no higher honor.” He does admit that it didn’t actually hit him how prestigious the honor was until he got a list of all the other members in the HOF.
“When you see it the whole list is like, ‘Oh my gosh, man, everybody you ever loved is in there,’” he said. “So, to be in there with ’em, it’s just amazing. It’s an American dream right there.”
