“Today” Celebrates Country Stars On Halloween

While the “Today” show were feeling their country roots yesterday with their annual Halloween special.

The cast dressed up as country music legends for Halloween with Reba McEntire on hand to do the introductions. Carson Daly put on a mullet to go as Billy Ray Cyrus, while Al Roker donned braids to be Willie Nelson, and Megyn Kelly dressed in a bustier and top hat to channel Shania Twain.

Hoda Kotb dressed as her favorite country star Blake Shelton, who actually performed on “Today,” while Kathie Lee Gifford went as Miley Cyrus and Savannah Guthrie donned a grey beard to be Kenny Rogers.

The ultimate costume went to Matt Lauer, who wore a blonde wig and rhinestone dress, not to mention fake boobs, to channel Dolly Parton, who then dueted with “Kenny” on “Islands in the Stream."

Matt actually got a little help from Dolly for the costume. She gave him a blonde wig, some fake boobs and showed him how to walk just like her. Check out the reveal to the right, as well as Matt’s tutorial with Dolly.
