Zac Brown To Release Side Project Featuring "Southern Pop"

posted by Party Marty Mitchell -

Many Zac Brown Band fans are wondering whether rumors the band may be changing their music style to "pop" is true.

No need to be concerned. Zac says Sir Rosevelt is his new "side band". Zac describes the sound of the trio including Songwriter Niko Moon and producer Ben Simonetti as “Southern pop.” Zac and the band experimented on ZBB's 2015 album, Jekyll + Hyde.

“Sir Rosevelt is a new chapter in addition to Zac Brown Band,” Zac says. “A new outlet for creativity, connection and art. Get ready.”

The multi-award winning Timbaland who’s well known for his work with Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott, to name a few has produced the first single , “Something ‘Bout You.” Check out the song and lyric video below.

Sir Rosevelt will play its first live date in the U.S. December 29 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Here’s the track listing for the 11-song Sir Rosevelt project:
