Congratulations to Chris Janson on having his lifelong dream come true!
The special moment happened live onstage during Janson's first headlining sold-out show at the Ryman Auditorium on Monday night. Just moments after Janson's longtime friend Keith Urban joined him to perform a cover of John Michael Montgomery's “Sold," Keith invited Chris to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.
"The Opry is where my heart is," an emotional Janson responded. "I could probably die if I never got to do anything else."

I’ll never forget the moment that I was invited by brother @keithurban to join the @opry in front of a Sold out crowd in Nashville @theryman .....I am so incredibly humbled in every way. I still cannot believe it. Thank you Lord, thank you Kelly and kids, thank you Opry and Keith, and so many people who have believed in me and continue to do so. It means the world to me.
