New York State Crime Stoppers are requesting any information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed banks in Beacon and the city and town of Poughkeepsie.
The nonprofit organization is offering a reward up to $2,500 (cash).
The first bank robbery occurred on December 11th, 2017 at the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Beacon.
The next robbery occurred ten days later on December 21st at the M&T Bank in the city of Poughkeepsie. The third robbery happened January 2nd at TEG Credit Union in the town of Poughkeepsie. In all three robberies, a light-skinned black man gave a teller a note demanding cash.
The robber is described as being about 6 feet tall and having a medium build.
Anyone with information regarding the robberies is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline, 1-866-313-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous, and there’s no caller ID on Crime Stoppers telephones.
