Chancellor Livingston Wins $25,000 Community Fitness Playground

Chancellor Livingston Elementary (RCSD) Principal Brett King and Physical Educator Kevin Yarnell stopped by to chat and share some great news with WRWD morning show host Party Marty Mitchell. (Watch WRWD's Facebook live interview and CLS video campaign below).

"Thanks to the Rhinebeck Community’s enthusiastic support and fantastic assistance over the past forty-two days, the Chancellor Livingston Elementary School Physical Education Department is proud to announce that we have won the national “Dannon Danimals and Project Fit America Back to School Grant Contest.”

As one of the four winning schools, CLS will be awarded a $18,000 community fitness playground from Dannon and $7,000 from Project Fit America to cover the installation expenses for a total of $25,000.

This amazing opportunity would not have been possible without everyone’s help. It was a wonderful effort, and CLS is honored to be a part of the Rhinebeck CSD and the Hudson Valley community.

Feel free to share the video as well. Chancellor Livingston Elementary School and Rhinebeck CSD want to personally thank you for your help in distributing the information and voting daily. You made this possible for the students of CLS, the Rhinebeck Central School District, and the Rhinebeck Community. Once we learn more details regarding implementation, we will keep you updated."
