ACM Awards are #VegasStrong

Next weekend’s ACM Awards will be the first big country music event in Las Vegas since the tragic Route 91 Harvest Festival, which is certainly on the minds of many of today’s country artists.

The ACM released a video (below) of several artists, including Brett Young, LANCO, Luke Combs and more, discussing the impact the tragedy had on country music, as well as the resilience of country's artists and their fans, and why it's important for the show to return to Las Vegas.

“As the country music community prepares to return to Las Vegas for the first time since October, we are reminded of the importance of banding together as a community to honor those whose lives were lost and those whose lives will never be the same,” the ACM shares, along with the hashtag “#VegasStrong.”

The 53rd Annual ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire, airs next Sunday, April 15th on CBS at 8 pm, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
