Jason Aldean Performs On ”Today,” Helps Fan Late For School

Jason Aldean has a very busy week promoting his album released last Friday the 13th. He was up very early yesterday treating the “Today” show crowd to a concert on Rockefeller Plaza, NYC.

The reigning three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year performed songs from his new album “Rearview Town,” including the title track and his latest single “You Make It Easy,” as well as, “A Little More Summertime.”

One teenage Jason fan hit the plaza before school, but came prepared with her very own late pass. The girl, named Kacey, wrote out the pass on a piece of cardboard that read, “Please excuse Kacey for being late to school. She was with me at the Today show,” and actually got Jason to sign it. No word on whether the school accepted it.
