Five Foot Snake Interrupts Minor League Baseball Game
Imagine playing center field during a minor league baseball game. You're focusing on each pitch with anticipation when you notice what appears to be a five foot long moving object.
A Friday night Minor League Baseball game in Texas turned into a game of chase after a huge snake slithered onto center field. The five-foot long snake made its debut during a game between the Double-A San Antonio Missions and the visiting Frisco Roughriders.
The grounds crew took to the field armed with rakes and a bucket to corral the creature, but it had other ideas as it made one of the crew dance a bit to get away before eventually being captured. The Missions also had a game delayed Thursday when a cat had to be removed from the warning track.
