You may have seen their social media posts warning about fake accounts. Some of today's biggest country stars are taking action by teaming up to fight social media fakes.

A new website called Nashville for Social Media Safety. The website says, “Your favorite artists have not and will not ever ask you for your personal information or anything like that” and also gives detailed information about how to report the imposters on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram."

The extensive list of country stars joining forces include: Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts, Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, Brett Young, Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, Kip Moore, Michael Ray, Lindsay Ell, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Brooks & Dunn and more.

The video below reminds fans of an important fact: If there’s not a blue circle with a white check mark next to the stars' names, it’s a fake.
