Bunnie Xo Addresses 'Wild Rumors' Amid Jelly Roll's 'Dramatic' Weight Loss

Bunnie Xo said it’s been “a weird week,” as she spoke about the rumors about her husband, Jelly Roll.

“I used to pride myself on being a conspiracy theorist, and I really believed a lot of the conspiracy theories that are out there,” she said on a new episode of her podcast, Dumb Blonde. “I have been a conspiracy theorist until my husband and I became the conspiracy, and I can’t help but laugh.”

Bunnie XO addressed some of “the wild rumors” that have spread after Jelly Roll’s “dramatic weight-loss journey,” which has taken place over the course of more than two years. The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Artist of the Year has been open about his ongoing health and fitness journey, and recently revealed his clean-shaven look while reacting to his 2026 Grammy nominations. Bunnie recently said on TikTok that people “think (Jelly Roll) is a clone [because] he lost weight & his ‘tattoos don’t match,’” she wrote with a laughing emoji. Bunnie Xo added in her caption that “it took him TWO years to lose this weight, not two weeks.”

“My husband was literally almost 600 pounds,” Bunnie said. “This man sets out on this journey in front of everybody’s eyes. Literally, two and a half years ago, said, ‘I’m going to get skinny. I’m going to lose this weight,’ and it’s almost like nobody believed him because he’s done it in front of everybody’s eyes. Every time a new video of him came out for the past two years, (people have reacted), ‘where’s Jelly going? ‘Jelly’s shrinking.’ ‘Oh my God, he’s losing weight.’ ‘We’re so proud of him.’ ‘Look at him go.’ ...That last 60 or 70 pounds, one, was the hardest for him to lose, and two, made the most dramatic difference in how he looked. …Now that he’s lost this weight and he’s down to, I think, 250 now — which is the lowest he’s ever been in his entire life — here comes all these m*****f***ers talking about, ‘he’s a clone.’

“My husband laughs. He thinks it’s so funny. But I just feel really bad for him because everyone around him who loses weight gets congratulated, but then he gets drug into these conspiracy theories,” Bunnie XO admitted. She added later, “it’s kind of disheartening because it really takes away from all the hard work my husband’s done. And he loves it. He thinks it’s f***ing great. …But I still can’t wrap my head around the clone thing.”

Bunnie goes on to talk about health, self-care and more throughout the “chaotic, honest, unexpectedly informative” conversation. Find the full Dumb Blonde episode on iHeartRadio here (warning: language).
