Nicole Kidman sure knows how to celebrate a birthday! Over the weekend, her husband and country singer, Keith Urban, turned 52-years-old. She posted a sweet photo of the couple together on social media reminding Urban how loved he is.
"Happy Birthday Keith Lionel.. you are so loved," Kidman writes in the photo caption on Instagram. Urban himself, also took to social media to share his birthday celebration with fans. The photo shows Kidman peeking out from behind a pile of presents with a large vase of red roses. "Thank you to EVERYONE for all the birthday love !!!!!!!! (it's all in the details xxxx)," Urban wrote in the caption.
A few weeks before Urban's big birthday, the lovely couple enjoyed a trip to Italy together. The country singer shared a selfie of the two together from their trip to Florence captioned, "Sunset in Firenze-... with my love. - KU."
While on their trip abroad, the couple attended a wedding where they both took the stage to sing a duet to Elton John's "Your Song." The two of them took turns exchanging verses of the classic love song in honor of the bride and groom.
Last week, Urban released a new duet version of his latest single "We Were," with Eric Church. The original song, was actually written by Church himself alongside Ryan Tyndell and Jeff Hyde. Urban previously revealed that he had no idea Church was a writer on the song before cutting it.
"I found out and I called Eric, and I was like, ‘Dude, I just cut this song.’ He was thrilled. I said, ‘I had no idea that you were a writer on it,'" Urban said on the Bobby Bones Show. As it turns out, Church says the song is more fitting for Urban anyways, explaining, "I truly believe songs find the path that they're supposed to find, and one was supposed to be with him."
The new "We Were" collaboration comes just a few weeks before the 2019 CMA Awards on November 13. Both Church and Urban are nominated for CMA Entertainer of the Year.
