Have You Signed Up For Summer Camp Yet?

It seems odd to be talking about summer camp while it's still January and Christmas was only a month ago, that sounds weird doesn't it? However, some of the best camps around New York are reporting that with on-line registrations, many of their camps are already 90% filled.

Take the NYSDEC for example, they offer amazing camp experiences for children from ages eleven to seventeen. Kids get to experience fun, hands-on activities all while exploring the great outdoors.

They learn about field, forest, stream, and pond ecological principles and the DEC offers one hunter education program for either gun, bow, or trapping at each camp each week. But these classes are limited and you have to sign up for them during registration and complete the homework before arriving at camp this summer.

The cost for a week at camp is still $350 per child for this summer. This includes meals, local trips, an overnight outdoor camping experience, and a camp t-shirt. See the complete schedule of camp weeks and ages here and submit your application here.

If you think your child would love this type of camp experience, don't wait, or the camp you want won't be available come time for summer vacation.
