Is Your Favorite Movie Leaving Netflix Next Month?

Young woman watching television

It's a sad state of affairs. The day when your favorite movies or TV shows are removed from Netflix. We know it's coming, but somehow we are never quite prepared. Take this month for example, some of my favorites are leaving the platform, cue the popcorn.

'Back to the Future', all of them, will be gone by August 1. 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (2005), 'Twister' (1996), 'As Good as it Gets' (1997), and the classic 'E.T.' (1982) will also be gone when the calendar flips over to August.

You have a little bit more time if the British series 'Skins' is one of your favorites, or 'Ever After High' has caught the attention of someone in your household, and the action thriller '6 Days' is also slated to be gone later in August.

On the bright side, coming to Netflix in August are some of these favorites, the 5th season of 'Lucifer', 'Mad Max' (1979), 'Les Miserables' (2012), 'Casino Royale (2006), and more. Keep the AC cranked and stock up on your favorite snacks, let the binge watching begin, um or resume.
