Jason Aldean kicked off his long-awaited Highway Desperado era with the release of his 11th studio album on Friday (November 3), serving as a tribute to his career on the road. The award-winning country star “built my career on the road and it’s my favorite part of what we do,” he shared as he dropped the project that bears the same name as this year’s headlining tour.
Highway Desperado includes a few previously-released anthems in addition to fresh, never-before-heard tracks. Fans will undoubtedly recognize “Tough Crowd,” “Try That In A Small Town” and others as they listen to the 14-track collection on Friday:

Aldean’s newest album comes shortly after he dropped by his own intimate album preview party in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, fielding a few questions from fans about his music and years-long career. Highway Desperado follows Aldean’s massive double album that serves as a tribute to his hometown, Macon, Georgia. The two-installment project included 30 tracks altogether, including “That’s What Tequila Does,” “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood, “Trouble With A Heartbreak,” “Rock And Roll Cowboy” and other fan-favorites.
Aldean is gearing up for the release with an iHeartCountry Album Release Party, which will include performances and a special Q&A hosted by iHeartRadio's Wayne D.
