Bailey Zimmerman Reacts To 'Insane' Tattoo Of His Face

Bailey Zimmerman spotlighted an “insane” tattoo on his Instagram story on Tuesday night (January 2), displaying the Illinois-born singer-songwriter’s portrait with his song lyrics in all caps — “BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE” — on a person’s arm.

Artist Justin Reid and New Generation Tattoo, located in San Jose, California, posted a reel on Instagram to show the detailed portrait set to Zimmerman’s acoustic rendition of “Rock and A Hard Place.” Zimmerman shared the reel on his Instagram story, writing, “This is insane,” with a fire emoji above the artwork.

“This was my first full scale portrait,” Reid wrote in the caption, tagging Zimmerman. “I learned so much in the process and I’m excited to conquer more pieces like this. There’s still some work to do on this one. But I’m happy with how far I’ve come. Thank you all for the trust.”

Zimmerman released “Rock and A Hard Place” on his debut full-length album, Religiously. The Album., in May 2023. The 16-track project also included the title track, “Fix’n To Break,” “You Don’t Want That Smoke,” “Fall In Love” and other highlights. Zimmerman said in a statement when he released the album — followed by his iHeartCountry Festival debut and a Metaverse show in iHeartLand — that it felt “so surreal. Thank you to everyone that has had my back through thick and thin. I will never be able to repay y’all for the love and support, this album is for you.”

Zimmerman is gearing up for his headlining “Religiously. The Tour.,” with special guest Josh Ross, in addition to joining festival lineups, shows with Morgan Wallen, with Kane Brown and more. It’s set to kick off on February 1 in Los Angeles, California, with stops across the U.S. — including in Salt Lake Cit, Utah; Denver, Colorado; Boston, Massachusetts’; New York, New York; Houston Texas; and others — before heading to England, Scotland and Ireland. Zimmerman’s “Religiously. The Tour.” will come to a close in August in Durant, Oklahoma.
