I first cracked the mic at WZPR in Meadville, Pennsylvania, now known as Froggy 100.3, in May of 1989\. I was lucky enough to have a front row seat to the amazing artists that would explode onto the scene in the early 90’s.  I also quickly learned that country music fans are the best fans, they are passionate about the music, and they treat you like family.

I moved to the Hudson Valley in 1995 and soon found a home at WRWD, how lucky can a girl get. I went from one top-rated station to another, playing the music I love and meeting some amazing artists as well as fans. But as so often is the case, my radio career would take me across town, where I would stay for the next 22 years working with WEOK Broadcasting, Cumulus, and Townsquare Media with first Oldies 97/MIX97 and then helping to create and build WKXP/WZAD The Wolf.

I have been very fortunate to have worked with some of the most creative and talented people in the radio business as well as having the best listeners and I am looking forward to continuing that as I come back home to WRWD as well as creating my own voiceover business, Beth Christy, LLC.
