Walkway One Mile Postponed. Again.

The very first Walkway One Mile to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park was supposed to have been held in June. It would have been a series of 10 one-mile runs for all age groups and it was planned to be a day of fun, community, and celebration.

It was postponed until September, due to COVID-19, but last week it was announced that it would be moved until 2021 with a date being announced early next year. It is disappointing news, but the safety of the participants, volunteers, and spectators are a top priority.

If you already registered for this year's race, you have a few options. You can have your registration saved for next year's race, you can receive a refund, or you can ask that your registration fee be turned into a donation for the park. Every registrant will be contacted directly by Friends of the Walkway.
